Welcome to my site... TONY HUGHES, ONEMAN BAND Music to put a smile on your face, make you dance, or at the very least, tap your feet and sing along to songs spanning all sorts of musical genres. Dylan, Donovan, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, through to Van Morrison, The Levellers, David Gray, REM, Oasis with some Sixties, Folk and Irish thrown in, depending on the venue. So you're guaranteed a thoroughly good night's entertainment! All this music is made by one man accompanying his singing on Twelve and six string acoustic and electric guitars, mouthorgans and playing a Bass drum and HI Hat Cymbals all at once!! He sits down like a drummer rather than having the drums on his back, and the resulting sound is very full , sounding like a full band at times. No backing tracks, just good live music played through excellent P A. TONY HUGHES If a Oneman Band doesn't quite fit your requirements, then Tony provides a different settup by standing up and playing Midi Bass Pedals attached to an arranger. This provides full Bass, drums and sometimes other accompaniment, making a great sound to accompany his voice. This is still different from backing tracks, giving a much more "Live Band" feel to the music. Many of the songs from each settup are the same but with The Bass pedal set up, the emphasis is more on sixties and rock/ rock ballads than Folk/ Dylan.
